What is CourseShortlist?

CourseShortlist is an independent comparison site for learning platforms. The aim is to get you from “which one?” to a decision fast, by setting platforms side by side on price, quality of teaching and how useful the courses are in practice, with a direct link to each platform's own site.

How we work

• A platform earns its place through the quality and usefulness of its courses, never through the size of the commission it offers.
• Prices and features are checked against the platforms themselves and refreshed regularly; what you pay often depends on whether you buy one course or subscribe.
• Our ratings are editorial judgements weighing ease of use, catalogue, free options and price.
• The advice is general by design: it points you in a direction rather than deciding for you.

Independence and funding

CourseShortlist is free to use, and at present it earns nothing from the platforms it lists: no link on this site is an affiliate link. Should that change, this page will say so, and it will have no bearing on which learning platforms we recommend. More in our disclaimer and privacy policy.

Who is behind it?

CourseShortlist belongs to the Shortlist family of comparison sites, run by Orai Media, a company in the Netherlands that builds and maintains independent comparison and advice sites. The site is a work in progress: fresher data and better comparisons are added continuously.
